At the heart of the historical centre, at one of the picturesque squares and next to the viewpoint of Tropea, you will find this spacious apartment. Raf Vallone, a famous actor, was the proud owner of this unique apartment for several years. Terrazza sull’ Isola is named after the two huge terraces from where you have a fantastic view over the sea, the beach and the famous peninsula with its small church. The apartment sleeps a maximum of five persons.

The construction of the apartment started at around 1200. And there are still some original details to be found from that period. The spacious living room with open kitchen has a traditional ceiling and a large terrace. The bedroom is one floor down and has sea view, a bathroom and another terrace. Terrazza sull’ Isola is simply but tastefully decorated. And because the apartment is cut out from the rocks the inside temperature is perfect in all seasons. The apartment is right at the heart of Tropea which will allow you to spend the mornings at the beach and the afternoons at a terrace on one of the charming piazzas. There are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity of the apartment. Raf Vallone, known from his part in the Godfather movies, was very well aware of this. Terrazza sull’ Isola is very well suited for travellers that like to spend some time in a town. It also is a wonderful destination for who wants to leave the car at home. Be aware though that the apartment is right in the city centre and that you will hear the rumour of the street in one of the bedrooms. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
